The Paraglider

i am an acrobat
in the skies
without my harness
i still fly
fall if i
i'll land
among the clouds
then slide down
that rainbow
i'll get by
or hitch a ride
from swallows
or flap
these arms
til they hurt
or wait
for bubbles
round and pert
or shimmy shake
with the raindrops

soft does
the landing
on that lily pad
how i wish
i can do that again
