people said that
life is a rollercoaster

there are the ups
the build-ups
the excitements
the anticipations
the elements of surprise

then
there are the downs
the climaxes
the hair raisings
the nail bitings
the laughters
which were more of
hiding fears
than actual happiness
than actual elatedness
than sheer enjoyment
of making to the bottom

but to me
life is like a roadtrip

you hit the gas
and off you go
you can't stop in the middle
but you know
you have to end somewhere
but
the roads are never ending
sometimes bumpy
sometimes winding
but more often so
they stretched
far beyond

you see the world
from that glass window
and soon enough
there will be a stop sign

breathe
breathe again
